Working in Ministry for the last decade has been a blessing for me. I have been able to walk alongside friends & youth who were going through really difficult seasons, and celebrate with them as things were going well. I have even had the honor of helping to baptize some!
In 2023 I was asked to officiate an amazing friends wedding and it was my greatest joy and privilege to say yes! Helping them start their life together sparked a renewed sense of hope in me. It made me realize that I wanted to walk alongside more couples as they start their lives together!
My core belief for weddings is that you are planning for a marriage, not just a party. Your day together is about celebrating all the best of your love for each other. Let me help you start your life together here in Kansas City!
I’ve been married for 20 years to my amazing husband, Jeremy. We have been through some of the hardest things a couple can go through. From 2 military deployments, miscarriage and births, critical combat injuries, moving across the country four times, going back to school, raising kids…you name it, we’ve probably dealt with it in some capacity. Our wedding was a fabulous celebration at one of Kansas City’s most iconic places downtown, but it didn’t prepare me for how to handle loss, differences in beliefs, or working together to raise kids. We have had to work hard to make sure we are staying on the same page, or at least the same chapter in whatever we are facing. We have fought through some of life’s greatest challenges and have only one reason we believe we’ve made it…
Jesus.
Our faith has given us a strong foundation to work from as we navigate how to love well, how to forgive, and what it really means to sacrifice for those you love. Love isn’t about just a feeling, its an action that’s carried out daily.
Working with Me
Coaching
No amount of coaching will ever fully prepare you for how to handle every situation you are going to face, but it can give you tools to help guide you through some of them. We will work together through 3 pre-wedding coaching sessions to talk about planning for the future, handling disagreements, and managing expectations.
Ceremony Planning
Your ceremony is an incredibly special time as you commit to joining your lives together! I provide full ceremony planning outlines and will work with you and your vendors to make sure your ceremony feels like it was meant just for you. Because it was! I will also help walk everyone through a rehearsal before the wedding day.

Follow-Up
After the wedding, you will sign your marriage license together with me and your witnesses and I will deliver it to the appropriate courthouse in Kansas or Missouri. A couple of months after your wedding, we’ll get together for dinner to talk about how things went, what’s next in your life, and continuing to love well.
